About

We turn official letters into plain answers.

TranslateMyLetter helps people living in a second language understand official mail — tax offices, immigration authorities, benefits agencies — and reply to it correctly, before the deadline.

Why this exists

Official letters are written in a formal register that even native speakers find hard: long compound terms, legal references, and deadlines buried in the fourth paragraph. For someone living abroad, the problem isn't only translation — a word-for-word translation of "Aufforderung zur Abgabe" still doesn't tell you what to do, by when, or how to answer. TranslateMyLetter was built to answer exactly those three questions.

Who is behind it

TranslateMyLetter is built and run by Antony Njenga, a founder based in Ruiru, Kenya. Through his asset recovery firm, 68 AN Company Limited, Antony works with formal statutory notices and their strict legal deadlines — the same kind of document that causes panic in expat inboxes. TranslateMyLetter applies that experience to official mail across countries and languages.

Questions or feedback go straight to him: hello@translatemyletter.com.

How it works

Our letter guides are written by hand and checked against official government and legal sources, which are linked on every guide.
